Nation of Dova Defence Charter

 

 

Section I – Purpose and Policy of Defense 

-The Nation of Dova recognizes the inherent right of all peoples to self-defense, as outlined in the Charter of the United Nations.

-As a peaceful sovereign entity, the Nation of Dova Empire shall defend its territory, culture, citizens, and sovereignty through lawful, non-aggressive, and proportionate means.

 

Section II – Territoral Integrity 

-The borders of the Nation of Dova, as defined in official records, shall be considered inviolate.

-Trespassing, vandalism, or unauthorized interference with the property of the Nation of Dova is considered an incursion and will be met with lawful protective actions consistent with local, state, and federal laws.

 

Section III – Principles of Non-Aggression 

-The Nation of Dova renounces all forms of aggressive war.  We are a Nation of peace.  The defense of Dova shall only be undertaken in response to:

-Unlawful entry onto Dovan territory

-Threats to the physical safety of Dovan citizens

-Attacks on the symbols, institutions, or dignity of the Nation of Dova

 

Section IV – Defense Mechanisms

The Nation of Dova shall maintain the following defensive strategies:

-Diplomatic Defense – Engaging in peaceful diplomacy with all nations and entities.

-Legal Defense – Retaining the right to defend Nation of Dova’s property and sovereignty in court.

-Physical Defense – Protecting the property of Dova with lawful security measures including fencing, cameras, signage, and personal defensive weaponry and training as permitted by law.

-Ceremonial Defense Force – Maintaining a symbolic military structure to honor the traditions of sovereignty and readiness.

 

Section V – Alliances and Mutual Defense

-Nation of Dova shall form alliances and treaties with other micronations to promote peace and, where agreed upon, mutual support in the event of symbolic threats or attacks on dignity.

 

Section VI – Emergency Powers

-In the event of a declared emergency, the Head of State may activate the “Order of National Vigilance,” mobilizing all citizens of Dova for defensive action, limited strictly to peaceful, legal, and symbolic measures unless otherwise required by immediate circumstances and permitted by law.

 

Section VII – Military Honors and Traditions

-The Nation of Dova shall maintain ceremonial ranks, uniforms, and traditions to honor the spirit of defense and patriotism, regardless of the absence of formal armed conflict.
